Marketing Manager & Content Writer
ABOUT US: Very Decent Marketer is the creative engine behind some of the fastest-growing personal injury law firms. We specialize in end-to-end social media strategy, including scriptwriting, content production, and paid ads management. Our mission is simple: we help law firms get their name out there by producing high-quality content that converts. We are looking for a Marketing Manager & Content Writer ready to take ownership of our creative output and help our clients scale. POSITION OVERVIEW: As our Marketing Manager & Content Writer, you will own the creative vision and written execution behind our content-driven marketing efforts. Your primary focus will be: • Developing content ideas for paid social media advertising • Writing high-performing social media ad scripts • Overseeing the filming and editing process to ensure the final product matches your creative intent While you won’t be filming or editing content yourself, you will work closely with our internal team and contractors to make sure content is executed correctly and performs. You’ll also support broader marketing initiatives through website copy, blogs, newsletters, and general marketing support as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Paid Ads & Video Content (Primary Focus) • Generate creative content ideas for paid ads across Meta, Tiktok, YouTube, and other platforms • Write short-form and long-form video ad scripts • Work within ad platform requirements and restrictions while still pushing creative boundaries • Collaborate with our team to guide filming direction, provide clear creative briefs, and oversee the editing process to match your vision • Ensure content aligns with each client’s brand voice, positioning, and goals Writing & Content Development • Write and refine: Website copy, Landing pages, Blog articles, Email newsletters • Marketing collateral for both clients and our agency • Maintain consistent tone, messaging, and brand alignment across multiple clients Marketing Strategy & Support • Assist with general marketing manager / marketing assistant tasks as needed • Help organize content calendars and creative pipelines • Support internal agency marketing initiatives (social, email, branding) Research & Competitive Analysis • Continuously research: Competitor ads and creative trends, What’s working in the personal injury marketing space, Emerging paid-ad formats and strategies • Proactively suggest new angles, hooks, and improvements based on performance and market trends WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR: This role is ideal for someone who: • Has a strong creative writing background • Understands marketing fundamentals and paid advertising • Is obsessed with what makes content actually perform • Enjoys owning ideas from concept → execution → refinement • Is comfortable working across multiple brands and clients • Takes initiative and thrives in a fast-moving agency environment You should genuinely care about creating content that gets results, not just content that “sounds good.” REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Proven experience in creative writing + marketing • Experience writing content for: Paid ads (Meta, YouTube, etc.), Websites and landing pages, Blogs and email newsletters • Strong understanding of paid advertising best practices and platform constraints • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines • Comfortable collaborating with creative teams and giving clear feedback • Strong research skills and willingness to self-educate continuously STRONGLY PREFERRED: • Experience in legal, personal injury, or professional services marketing • Experience working at a marketing agency • Familiarity with ad performance metrics and creative testing concepts WHAT WE OFFER: • Competitive compensation package • Paid time off (PTO): Holidays, vacation accrual, sick days • Company-provided computer • Internet stipend • Ability to work from home • Comprehensive training and ongoing support • Opportunity to play a creative role in a growing agency • Work on high-visibility campaigns with real impact • Creative ownership and influence over strategy • A team that values bold ideas, performance, and execution HOW TO APPLY Please submit: • Your resume • Examples of writing samples (ad scripts, blogs, landing pages, etc.) • A brief note explaining why this role excites you Pay: $60,000.00 per year Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Paid time off • Work from home stipend Experience: • marketing: 1 year (Required) Location: • Pennsylvania (Required) Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
