Marketing Specialist
Parks Alliance of Louisville is a nonprofit supporting more than 100 public parks in Louisville. The Marketing Specialist will execute marketing and communications initiatives to engage the community, focusing on social media management, content creation, digital campaigns, and data analytics. Responsibilities Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, social media engagement, and website metrics Assist in execution and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across various digital platforms Use data insights to recommend improvements and increase campaign effectiveness Create, capture, and manage content across social media platforms ensuring consistent brand storytelling across platforms Design graphics, visuals, and other digital content Collaborate with staff to maintain digital content library, including photos and video assets Assist with email campaigns, audience segmentation, and reporting Monitor and optimize open rates, click-throughs, and other key performance metrics Assist with promotional efforts for major events and campaigns Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and partners as needed Help maintain brand consistency across digital and print materials Skills Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent work experience 1–3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, social media, or advertising Understanding of, and experience with, strategy for social media/web platforms and tools Experience with paid media campaigns, digital analytics tools, and website management Excellent writing and marketing communications skills Experience working with and/or managing external vendors, partners, volunteers, and event staff Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative suite Ability to function independently and adapt flexibly to rapid needs or changing priorities Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple projects Ability to read, write, and converse in English Ability to speak knowledgeably with donors, board members, community leaders, and on camera Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write appeal letters, thank you letters, basic marketing materials Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small, and large group situations to donors, board of directors, and community leaders Must have a current driver's license and insurable driving record Experience in a mission-based or nonprofit organization is preferred Benefits Flexible, hybrid work schedule 100% Employer paid health coverage options for employees (Includes medical EPO plan, dental, and vision) 100% Employer paid Basic Term Life and AD&D Matching 401(k) contribution Unlimited paid time off; observance of federal holidays in addition to the office being closed from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day Company Overview Parks Alliance of Louisville supports community projects and improvements in over 100 public parks and centers.
