Job Summary As a Math Tutoring Center Office Assistant , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our tutoring center. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting students, and assisting with various administrative tasks. This is a pooled position, and applicants will be selected from the pool as positions become available. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support to students, faculty, and staff. Assist with various administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining records. Develop and maintain strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, faculty, and staff. Utilize Google Suite and other software applications to perform tasks and maintain records. Demonstrate a willingness to learn new technology and software applications essential to the running of the tutoring center. Collaborate with tutors and other staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the tutoring center. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail to ensure accurate records and efficient operations. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Must be a current Weber State University student. Must be in current good academic standing. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Experience with Google Suite. Willingness to learn new technology and software applications. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum GPA of 3.0.
