Job summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly accurate Medical/General Transcriptionist to join our remote team. You will listen to audio recordings and convert them into clear, well-formatted written documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent listening skills, strong grammar proficiency, and the ability to work independently. Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Mid level Experience Length: 3 years Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: • Accurately transcribe audio recordings into written documents, ensuring correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting. • Review and edit drafts prepared by speech recognition software for accuracy and clarity. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with data protection regulations. • Research and verify terminology, especially medical terms, to ensure accuracy. • Meet daily or weekly transcription targets and turnaround times. • Communicate with team members or clients to clarify unclear audio or terminology. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare care administration, health information management, or related field preferred. • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in medical / General Transcriptionist or general • Experience in medical transcription and familiarity with medical terminology is a strong advantage. • Proficiency in transcription software and word processing tools. • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
