Medical Spa Wix Website Redesign – Mobile-First UX + Professional Polish + SEO

Job Description We are a doctor-led medical spa in Mill Creek, Washington, and we are looking for an experienced Wix web designer to redesign our existing website to improve: • Mobile user experience (≈90% of our traffic is mobile) • Professional, modern, trust-building appearance • Navigation and booking flow • review Wix SEO (based on an existing SEO report) Important: This is a redesign and optimization project within Wix. Current website: ________________________________________ Project Goals • Make the website feel more professional and polished • Optimize the site for mobile users first • Improve clarity of services and navigation • Reduce friction to booking and contacting us • Implement SEO improvements where appropriate (within Wix) • Preserve all existing booking and conversion tracking Brand Messaging & Values Alignment (High Priority) One of our most important priorities for this project is maintaining clear, consistent marketing messaging across the entire website that aligns with our mission and guiding values (which will be provided in a separate document, see attached). Our brand is intentionally built around: • Physician-led, expert care • Trust, integrity, and long-term relationships • Thoughtful, patient-centered decision-making • Natural, conservative, and ethical aesthetic medicine All design, layout, copy adjustments, and visual choices should reinforce a values-driven, care-focused message, rather than a sales-heavy or trend-driven aesthetic. Preserving this tone and messaging is just as important to us as visual design and UX improvements. We are looking for a designer who is comfortable collaborating closely to ensure the website reflects expert medical care grounded in values, not generic med spa marketing. ________________________________________ Scope of Work 1. Mobile-First UX Redesign (High Priority) • Redesign layouts with mobile as the primary experience • Ensure “Book Now” and “Call” CTAs are clearly visible above the fold on mobile • Simplify page flow and reduce cognitive overload • Improve spacing, hierarchy, and consistency across pages • Optimize image sizing and load performance ________________________________________ 2. Visual & Content Updates • Update and replace select images (we will guide and provide assets as needed) • Reduce stock-image feel; prioritize clinic, provider, and real-environment visuals • Maintain a clean, medical, trust-based aesthetic • Improve homepage messaging so users immediately understand: – What we do – Where we are located – Why they should trust us ________________________________________ 3. Navigation & Services Structure • Simplify service navigation (grouped in a patient-friendly way) • Improve internal linking between services • Ensure service pages are easy to find and understand on mobile ________________________________________ 4. Functional Changes • Remove Wix Chat. Replace chat with: – Text messaging routed to our VoIP phone system (if this is an option) or – Contact forms routed to our business email • Add an “Our Location” section with: – Embedded Google Map – Business hours – Clear address and contact info • Clean up footer to consistently display: – Business name – Address – Phone – Hours – Map link ________________________________________ 5. New Page Creation • Create a new page titled “Giving Back” • Page will highlight community involvement and charitable efforts • We will provide guidance on content; designer to handle layout and presentation ________________________________________ 6. SEO Review & On-Page Improvements We will provide a detailed SEO assessment report (PDF). Please note Wix SEO was already implemented over a year ago, the scope of this job is to review the current SEO and update as needed. Scope of possible changes includes: • Updating page titles and meta descriptions where appropriate • Improving heading structure (H1, H2, etc.) • Local SEO enhancements (location mentions, service areas, map integration) • SEO-safe internal linking • Local Service Area (SEO & Clarity): Our service area should be clearly and consistently referenced throughout the website where appropriate (homepage, footer, contact page, and select service pages). We primarily serve patients from Mill Creek, Lynnwood, Snohomish, Bothell, Marysville, Everett, Edmonds, Mukilteo, Mountlake Terrace, Seattle, and Shoreline, as well as other nearby Snohomish County and North Seattle communities. Service-area references should feel natural, not forced or repetitive, and should support both local SEO and clarity for users. •Backlinks Where appropriate, we would like to include links from our website to authoritative external profiles that reinforce trust, credentials, and local relevance. This include links to: • Our Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce profile ________________________________________ Critical: Google Ads Conversion Tracking (Must Not Break) Our website has an existing Google Ads tag installed in Wix. • The “Book Now” button is tied to an existing Google Ads conversion • The conversion name, trigger, and event MUST NOT be renamed, removed, or rebuilt • The booking page itself is external to Wix Any design or structural changes must: • Preserve the existing Google Ads tag • Preserve the current “Book Now” conversion behavior • Keep the same booking URL and trigger • Be coordinated with us before making any changes that could affect tracking Google Ads Landing Pages (High Priority – Performance Sensitive) Several of our service pages function as active landing pages for Google Ads campaigns, including: Dermal Fillers, Wrinkle Relaxers, Laser Treatments, and Microneedling These pages are performance-sensitive and require careful, thoughtful updates. Any changes to these pages must: • Preserve clear, above-the-fold CTAs (especially on mobile) • Avoid introducing friction, unnecessary steps, or distractions • Maintain fast load times and clean page structure • Preserve booking flow and conversion behavior • Be reviewed with us before major layout, CTA, or structural changes The goal is to improve clarity and professionalism without sacrificing conversion performance. ________________________________________ Additional Technical & SEO Safeguards • Existing URLs should not be changed without approval • If a URL change is unavoidable, proper redirects must be implemented • No third-party chat tools or popups without approval • No elements that block or obscure mobile CTAs • Site performance on mobile must not regress after redesign ________________________________________ What We Will Provide • Wix access • Existing website and structure • SEO assessment report (PDF) • Brand direction and feedback, assets (pictures) • Guidance on images and content • Ongoing communication during the project ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience • Proven experience redesigning Wix websites • Strong mobile-first UX/UI experience • Understanding of on-page SEO and local SEO • Clear communication and documentation of changes ________________________________________ Nice to Have • Experience with medical, aesthetic, or healthcare websites • Familiarity with conversion-focused design • Experience coordinating around Google Ads tracking ________________________________________ Deliverables & Verification At project completion, we expect confirmation that: • “Book Now” button works and preserves Google Ads conversion tracking • Contact forms and messaging route correctly • Site displays correctly on mobile and desktop • SEO-related changes are documented ________________________________________ Timeline Flexible, but ideally 4–6 weeks, depending on scope and revisions.
