Merchandising Coordinator

The Merchandising Coordinator role involves supporting item setup, pricing, promotions, and vendor communication to ensure product data is accurate and ready for customer experience. Responsibilities Enter, update, and maintain item and vendor data across ERP and PIM systems, including attributes, pricing, promotional details, images, and compliance information Coordinate workflow between Category Managers, Merchants, and the PIM and Vendor Data team to ensure timely and accurate updates Support pricing and promotional setup, including cost changes, retail updates, MAP adjustments, and promotional pricing Maintain item lifecycle updates such as new item setup, assortment changes, replacements, and discontinuations Review and report on item, vendor, and category performance to support assortment decisions Communicate regularly with vendors to gather product assets, specifications, and required documentation Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Data teams to resolve item or pricing issues Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines accurately Comfort working in Excel and spreadsheet-based workflows, with willingness to learn additional systems Professional communication skills and comfort working with both internal teams and external vendors Attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, accurate data Curiosity and interest in learning products, systems, and merchandising processes High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required Experience in merchandising, retail operations, pricing, product data, or vendor coordination is helpful but not required for candidates who demonstrate strong learning agility and accuracy Benefits Purpose-Driven Work: Contribute directly to how products are presented, priced, and experienced by customers Skill Growth: Build hands-on experience with ERP, PIM, Excel, and merchandising workflows Collaborative Environment: Work closely with Merchants, Category Managers, and cross-functional partners Hybrid Flexibility: Minimum three days onsite per week in Grinnell, supporting collaboration while allowing some remote flexibility Company Overview Serious About Firearms Since 1939®, Brownells is the world’s leading source for guns, gun parts and accessories, ammunition, gunsmithing tools, and survival gear.
