We're seeking an experienced and passionate ELA Interventionist to join our team and help make a difference in the lives of our students. Job Summary We're seeking a highly skilled Michigan Online High School ELA Interventionist to work with our "At-Risk" student population. As an ELA Interventionist, you'll play a critical role in providing remediation in Reading to support academic goals and increase growth in this area. This is a remote position that offers an immediate start for the right candidate, and we're committed to rewarding talent with a competitive salary and total rewards package. Key Responsibilities Modifies and/or adapts the K12 curriculum in alignment with state content standards to meet the unique needs of each student Collaborates with general education teachers to meet the goals of targeted students through individualized and small group sessions Educates parents on various instructional strategies to support student success Ensures the implementation of the RTI instructional system to increase student achievement Oversees data collection and progress monitoring at every tier, using data to inform instruction and drive student growth Provides guidance to teachers on identifying and grouping students who need additional help Collects and maintains all RTI data, including lists of eligible students and intervention plans Serves as a daily resource to school administrators, school leadership teams, and other stakeholders regarding RTI issues Collaborates with Family Academic Support Liaisons (FASL), homeroom teachers, advisors, counselors, and additional district personnel to coordinate and track Tier 2 interventions Provides ongoing training and support to school/district staff regarding RTI and data collection procedures Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of classroom experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience An active state teaching license Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills, presentation skills, and the ability to work without direct supervision Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and web proficiency A flexible schedule with the ability to travel up to 10% of the time for meetings The ability to pass a required background check Residency in Michigan Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: Experience working with "At-Risk" students A Math endorsement What We Offer At Stride K12, we're committed to providing a comprehensive total rewards package that includes a competitive salary. Work Environment This is a home-based position, and you'll be working remotely with some required travel for professional development and testing.
