Mid-Level Freelance Digital Marketer

Role Description Castleview is looking for a mid-level freelance digital marketer to own and evolve our paid media efforts across Meta and Google Ads. This role sits between execution and strategy: managing live campaigns, improving lead quality, tightening tracking and attribution, and contributing to inbound campaign planning. The ideal candidate has real hands-on experience inside Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, understands conversion tracking via pixels and Google Tag Manager, and can identify inefficiencies in creative, targeting, or funnel structure. Bonus for experience working with Wix websites. We’re looking for a practical operator who can think critically, protect budget, and collaborate—not a junior executor or a hands-off agency lead. Qualifications • Paid Media Ownership (Meta + Google Ads) Proven experience managing and optimizing live Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads accounts, including campaign structure, budget pacing, creative rotation, keyword hygiene, and ongoing performance analysis. • Conversion & Tracking Competence Strong working knowledge of Meta Pixel, Google Tag, Google Tag Manager, UTMs and conversion setup best practices (thank-you page tracking, event validation, debugging, and avoiding attribution conflicts). • Strategic Optimizer, Not Just a Button-Pusher Ability to diagnose issues like low-quality leads, creative misalignment, or wasted spend (“leaky buckets”) and make informed recommendations—not simply report metrics. • Landing Page & Funnel Awareness Comfortable coordinating ads with landing pages (VSLs, case studies, marketing landing pages), managing URL swaps via ad/ad-set duplication, and advising on CTA behavior, mobile UX readiness, and trust signals. • Inbound & Campaign Strategy Partner Capable of collaborating on new inbound campaign ideas (retargeting sequences, TOF/MOF/BOF structure, creative testing plans) and advising on when complexity is justified given budget constraints. • Wix Familiarity (Bonus, Not Required) Experience working within Wix environments—especially around pixel installation, Google Tag insertion, embedded forms, and known tracking limitations—is a strong plus.
