Middle PL SQL Developer

Trinetix is seeking technical-savvy Middle level PL SQL Developer to support projects focused on healthcare data systems, and data-driven automation initiatives. This role requires a understanding of healthcare data, industry-standard data formats (e.g., 837/835), The ideal candidate is technology-sound, technically skilled , adaptable, and capable of working across systems to analyze trends, identify process gaps, and help implement databases, datamarts and data storage, reporting solutions in healthcare operations. Requirements • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development • 3 years of experience working with healthcare data and entities such as patient demographics, encounters, lab/test results, claims (professional & facility), and electronic health records (EHR/EMR). • Hands-on experience with HIPAA-compliant data handling, PHI/PII data masking, and regulatory requirements in US healthcare. • A good knowledge and experience working with Oracle or SQL Server is required • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL Developer IDE • Proficiency in writing basic to moderately complex SQL and PL/SQL code, data querying (SQL) as well as reporting , data extractions etc. • Experience with other database technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL • Database performance tuning and execution plan analysis • Experience with data analysis , database monitoring, and data troubleshooting Nice-to-have • Experience and knowledge in migrating code, database changes and data through the various stages of the development life cycle. • Prior exposure to domains like encounters, long term care, renal care, chronic disease management, patient analytics, population health management, medication management, or clinical quality reporting datasets is preferred. • Knowledge of Data Warehousing , relational databases and Star/Snowflake , 3NF schemas • Experience with Operating System commands and scripting • Knowledge of physical database design is preferred • Exposure to HL7/FHIR data standards • Experience working in healthcare payer/provider settings • Familiarity with version control systems and tools like JIRA, Git, Confluence • Agile/Scrum participation experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Business, Data Science, or a related field. • Oracle PL/SQL Developer certification (preferred) Core responsibilities • Lead design, development, optimization, and maintenance of complex PL/SQL programs, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle (11g/12c/19c). • Participate in data analysis, modeling, and database design discussions and support Design scalable backend database logic • Translate business needs into technical solutions using SQL and PL/SQL, working closely with business analysts, solution architects, and QA teams • Supports all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures • Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the database objects. • Develop and maintain ETL logic and data transformation pipelines using PL/SQL • Tune and optimize existing PL/SQL code and database queries for performance improvement. • Participate in development sprints, documentation, and release management following agile practices • Writing efficient and optimized queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages • Support bug fixes, code enhancements, and troubleshooting production issues. • Perform routine database object management (tables, indexes, views, etc.). • Prepare scripts and contribute to release management and deployment.
