iSchool is looking for a dedicated Moderation Specialist to join our Sales team and help maintain a safe and engaging online learning environment for our students. As a Moderation Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring our online platforms to ensure that all interactions adhere to community guidelines and promote a positive experience for our users. Your role will be crucial in fostering a safe virtual space where students can explore and learn about coding, AI, and technology without disruptions. Responsibilities Monitor community interactions across various platforms, including forums, social media, and online classrooms. Address and escalate any inappropriate content or behavior in a timely manner. Promote positive engagement by encouraging constructive conversations among users. Prepare and maintain reports on community feedback and moderation actions. Collaborate with the content and support teams to develop strategies for fostering an inclusive community. Stay informed of trends and issues affecting our student community. Requirements Experience in moderation or community management, preferably in an educational or tech-focused environment. Strong understanding of online community dynamics and best practices. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to remain impartial and fair while resolving conflicts and addressing user concerns. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Familiarity with moderation tools and social media platforms. A passion for education, technology, and creating a positive online experience for students.
