RFA Mortgage Corporation is a leading Canadian-owned real estate firm specializing in Prime lending. The Mortgage Funder will be responsible for the day-to-day fulfillment of back office operational activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of mortgage files and providing exceptional customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Analyze data from various sources to prepare file for instruction Monitor and prioritize requests for instructions, documentation, and funds advance Prepare mortgage documentation for inclusion in Instructions to Solicitor Review and approve all Solicitor Documentation Manage team(s) daily funding pipelines Monitor and prioritizing requests received by email Respond to internal requests regarding general file status or issues Correct data entry errors as they appear on exception reporting Follow up with solicitors for all Final reports that fall outside our 120-closing mark Monitor and respond to inquiries and concerns received from Treasury, Underwriters, clients and their mortgage brokers and solicitors regarding file status or issues Assist with any other Funding department activities as required Other general administrative duties or special projects as assigned Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the funding function by maintaining an environment of continuous improvement and recommend process and procedures to streamline activities Investigate internal and external customer complaints and track complaints until resolved or escalated to the Designated Officer Performing other duties and assist with special projects, as required Provide exceptional customer satisfaction to clients Ensure all inquiries are effectively and accurately invested, responded to, and resolved to the satisfaction of clients Ensure Mortgage advancements are accurate and sent in a timely manner Work in liaison with our servicers Skills A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products General knowledge of basic accounting principles an asset Previous experience with mortgage products, specifically in relation to customer service, administration processes, funding, and legal documentation an asset Strong attention to detail Strong PC skills, including the ability to learn new systems quickly Positive and enthusiastic attitude Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service, and support skills Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of quality on all deliverables Benefits Health & Dental Care Vision Care RRSP Match Health & Wellness Spend Vacation & Personal Days Hybrid working environment Company Overview STRONG FINANCIAL ROOTS.
