MS SQL DBA / Remote - TX | Contract
Looking for Role : MS SQL DBA with Azure Location : TX (Possible for Remote) Duration : Contract Job Description: We are looking for an experienced MS SQL DBA with strong knowledge of Azure cloud services. The role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases both on-premise and in Azure environments. The candidate will ensure high availability, performance tuning, backup, and security of all database systems. Responsibilities: • Manage and monitor SQL Server databases in on-prem and Azure environments • Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning • Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues • Implement database security, access control, and auditing • Support database migrations to Azure SQL / Managed Instance Requirements: • 3 7 years of experience as an MS SQL DBA • Strong skills in SQL Server (2016 or later) • Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Studio, and cloud backups • Knowledge of PowerShell or T-SQL scripting • Good communication and problem-solving skills Apply tot his job
