JOB SUMMARY: Key Skills: Murex Testing, Unix, SQL, Capital Market domain Location – Bangalore Role Description: QA and Testing support UAT Testing Strategy, Test Plans, Test Processes, Test Scenarios, Test cases, Test Evidences IFC Treasury has many offices and teams working from geographically dispersed locations, with a variety of high-profile clients. This calls for better customer relationship management systems in order to improve the ease of interacting with clients and managing these important relationships. Doing so can increase the efficiency of the IFC Treasury. CTX (Quantitative Team in IFC Treasury) is currently working on migrating from the Summit Treasury Management System to Murex. The expectation from the selected candidate is to be actively contributing to the assuring the quality of the proposed solutions for these applications and more if required. SCOPE OF WORK The detailed scope of work would be as per below: • Verify & Validate process in terms of activities (testing, code inspection, etc.), methods, tools, etc. • Develop, maintain, and implement System/UAT testing strategy, test plans, test processes, test scenarios, and test cases based on CMMI standards • Create and compare recon reports from Summit and Murex • Develop scripts for each of the test cases for automation • Document Standards and Guidelines for scripting • Install guide and User manual for the test automation scripts • Provide leadership and “best practices” experience for definition and implementation for the process area • Report to World Bank project lead • Provide guidance and support to Project Manager for implementing the defined process • Provide necessary training to team members • Reconcile data between source and target systems as part of data migration testing and production cut over • Communicate with Business/Systems Analysts and Developers to understand/clarify requirements • Provide technical information for Change Requests meetings • Participate in systems requirement reviews and team meetings • Participate in production support and troubleshooting • Participate in collection and review of quantitative data related to software testing and development activities for measurement and analysis • Identify, report, and manage defects in defect tracking system • Provide regular updates to the Test/Project Manager • Provide testing status reports per Project requirements and provide input to the Project Plans and Processes • Identify and communicate risks to Project team SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering • Role Specific Experience: 5 years of QA, Test, and development experience • 3-5 Years’ Experience in Summit or Murex is necessary. • Advanced level of Microsoft excel skill is necessary. • Extensive experience in financial technology and Banking & Financial domain experience, along with knowledge of investment banking, Portfolio accounting systems, and trading application • Ability to use collaborative skills to work with application managers, database administrators, system administrators, and users • Experience with software test suites like Mercury, QTP, Test Director, Winrunner, etc. If you are keen to join us, you will be part of an organization that values your contributions, recognizes your potential, and provides ample opportunities for growth.
