Mondelēz International is a leading company in the snacking industry, and they are seeking a Product Development professional for their North America Confections – Jellies business. The role involves organizing and executing projects related to new product development and portfolio maintenance while ensuring compliance with RDQ, marketing, and manufacturing requirements. Responsibilities Organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks Plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.) Write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications Participate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues Write process specifications that deliver consistent, high-quality products across numerous manufacturing facilities Skills Food science, science, or engineering ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods market Working on teams and independently with the guidance of a manager Personal drive and organization Prioritizing and managing activities Planning, and executing work plans with some supervision Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions independently Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data to reach clear conclusions Communicating effectively verbally and in writing, including technical writing Putting the consumer at the heart of development activities BS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or related field 1-3 years of experience in related field Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity Participate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues Write process specifications that deliver consistent, high-quality products across numerous manufacturing facilities Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization Travel up to 30%, to locations in Canada, US, and Mexico Benefits Health insurance Wellness and family support programs Life and disability insurance Retirement savings plans Paid leave programs Education related programs Paid holidays and vacation time Company Overview Mondelēz International, Inc.
