Network Operations Engineer (3rd Shift) (Remote - Must Live In NYC Tri State)

• **This will be a Third shift position working with three other engineers. The Shift is 12am - 8am, Sunday to Thursday. • **Must live in NYC Tri-state area*** Description Our client, a large hospital in NYC, is looking for a Network Operations Engineer to join their NOC team. The engagement will be remote but is expected to be able to travel between the 5 Boroughs and their corporate office at 55 Water Street in downtown NYC if necessary. This consultant will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to the enterprise Network. • This engineer should be able to support implementation, optimization, administration, and technical documentation for all enterprise network systems with minimal supervision. • Engineer solutions for vastly complex problems that generally require in-depth analysis and creative thinking. • Proactively Identifies errors that are often difficult to detect and performs root cause analysis in finding resolution to network systems failures or faults. Must keep the availability of mission-critical IT services up and running . • Should have experience with enterprise network technologies including but not limited to LAN, WLAN, WAN, SWAN, Network Load balancers, VIPs BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, VPN, WAP, NAC, NAT, SNMP, QoS, VLANs, ACLs, TACACS, and RADIUS. • Be able to support and optimization of an enterprise IP telephony network including , VOIP systems and IP phones. • Should have experience with ServiceNow for ticketing and Event monitoring tools: NetCool preferred. Others could be Splunk, Solarwinds. This will be a Third shift position working with three other engineers. The Shift is 12am - 8am, Sunday to Thursday. (shift starts Saturday at midnight) -3-5 years of similar or related experience. -Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) -Superior analytical and problem-solving skills required. -Must possess excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. -Must be capable of working well with others and independently. -Must be able to perform all job functions with minimal supervision in a timely fashion. -Must be able to evaluate service requests and projects and prioritize as necessary. -Accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality required. -Requires after-hours support work may be required and as need. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
