POSITION SUMMARY A Nurse Practitioner Clinical Trainer is responsible for working directly with physicians and advanced practitioners to educate them on general anorectal care issues as well as in the techniques associated with the CRH O’Regan System, and to support these health care providers after the training, to help trainees provide the best possible care for their patients, and to reinforce the training provided by the CRH Medical Clinical Staff. While the role is primarily clinical, it also involves working with both the physicians and staff to ensure a smooth transition of a new procedure into the practice. Spends majority of the time travelling to various practices. Position reports directly to Medical Director – CRH O’Regan JOB SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS Training & Operational Responsibilities • Conducts training sessions with physicians, advanced practitioners, and practice staff on live patients within their practice. • Clearly communicates the clinical, operational, and financial components of the CRH O’Regan System and related procedures. • Explains ancillary services offered by the CRH O’Regan System to ensure practices fully understand the complete offering. • Identifies future opportunities for account managers to follow up on. • Assesses the need for additional physician training when appropriate. • Visits prospective and existing practices when patient-based training sessions cannot be scheduled. • Complies with all applicable laws, regulations, CRH O’Regan System policies, procedures, and the CRH Compliance Plan. • Maintains strict confidentiality regarding patients, families, staff, and organizational information. • Documents and follows up on all reportable incidents and quality-of-care concerns. • Travels 75–90% to clinics nationwide. • Consults with CRH Medical’s Medical Directors as required. • Participates in periodic educational and support sessions with Medical Directors and other providers. Clinical Responsibilities • Evaluates and treats patients with anorectal complaints using established clinic protocols. • Obtains relevant medical and family history, conduct focused physical examinations, and establishs appropriate diagnoses. • Treats hemorrhoids using the CRH O’Regan System. • Manages non-hemorrhoidal anorectal conditions within the standard of care. • Refers patients appropriately when conditions fall outside the clinic’s scope. • Collaborates with clinic staff to support efficient and effective patient care. • Recommends pre-procedure informed consent and provide pre- and post-treatment patient education. • Assists providers in maintaining accurate medical records and delivering timely coding and billing information. • Addresses patient and provider questions during working hours. • Delivers care in compliance with all confidentiality and privacy requirements. • Maintains all required professional licensure in applicable states. • Other duties as determined MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Education & Qualifications: Education: Master of Science Degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Licensure & Certifications: Certified Nurse Practitioner Previous Experience: Two (2) plus years of APP experience in a hospital or clinic setting. Prior experience involving surgical or outpatient procedures a plus. Familiarity with anorectal issues and experience utilizing the CRH O’Regan System is required. Skills: In addition to the clinical skills listed above, must be able to function independently and effectively. Possess impeccable customer service skills and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates self-initiative, proven decision-making skills and time management. Strong communication skills with confident nature, positive attitude, and friendly nature. Possess strong organizational skills. Experience in a role with significant travel. Computer Skills: Proficiency with standard business software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and using a laptop and mobile device is required.
