Job description GENERAL FUNCTION The Oakley Optical Sales Consultant manages client relationships with optical ECPs and sunglass specialty accounts to ensure that their needs and requirements are being met while serving as a steward for EssilorLuxottica and the Oakley brand. The Sales Consultant serves as an advocate in the market and provides a comprehensive set of programs, products and services to our customers to help grow their business. The Sales Consultant works collaboratively and independently to achieve/exceed all sales targets for their territory while maintaining the highest standards for distribution, training, productivity and merchandising. Focusing on the customer experience with both sell-in and sell through. Expected start date for this position is 1/1/2026. Responsibilities • Applies knowledge of the customer's business to develop optimal sales and service solutions • Proactively and with a regular cadence demonstrates to the customer the defined value of partnering with Oakley, both pre- and post-sales • Builds and sustains relationships founded on trust with internal and external customers and ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty • Identifies and qualifies new sales opportunities and develops plans for introducing new solutions through collaborative relationships • Identifies priorities and develops account plans and strategies to achieve financial and business objectives • Calls on current and potential eyewear retailers for the purpose of converting new business, maintaining current Oakley customers, and growing market share • Utilizes knowledge of general business practices to analyze customer needs and consult with customers to recommend suitable services and products, to meet the customers' needs • Conducts effective presentations such as sales proposals and training presentations • Participates in a team of other Sales Consultants and works in synergy to ensure customer satisfaction and to grow profitable sales Requirements/Qualifications • Minimum of at least 4 years of territory-related sales experience, preferably in the consumer good arena • Ability to travel a large geographic area, sometimes multiple states • High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred • Superior customer service, sales analysis and prospecting skills • Strong work ethic • Professional image and entrepreneurial spirit • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and decision-making skills • Must be able to carry product to and from accounts multiple times a day. Weight of product may vary based on brand distribution and frequency may vary based on schedule. • Self-motivated and directed • Computer proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Our Oakley Optical Sales Consultants are 1099 Independent Contractors; Compensation Structure is commission based with quarterly bonus eligibility.
