Title: OB Practice Consultant Virtual: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. The OB Practice Consultant is responsible for creating a partnership relationship with providers and key health plan leads, to support initiatives and ensure our members receive a fully integrated and accountable system of care. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: • Assess current practice patterns, assets, and challenges utilizing NCQA Standards, HEDIS audits, site reviews, and medical records reviews. • In partnership with the OB provider, evaluate the results of the initial assessment. • Establishes a project plan with the practice that establishes goals and objectives for improvement. • Provides ongoing practice support and sustains the partnership. Establishes regular meetings to track progress. • Improves the understanding and sensitivity to the unique needs of this population and the caregivers. • Ensures OB providers are offering evidenced-based care to members and driving quality improvement. Minimum Requirements: • Requires AS in nursing and minimum of 5 years of managed care experience and minimum of 2 years of clinical experience and minimum of 2 years of professional presentations to small and large audiences; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. • Current, unrestricted clinical license appropriate to field of specialty (LVN/LPN, RN, NP, PA, LCSW, LSW, etc.) as required. Preferred Skills/Experience/Education: • BSN or MSN preferred. • 2 years of combination of OB/GYN, Mother/Baby, L&D clinical experience highly preferred.
