About the Role The Online Chat Support Specialist is a multifaceted role that bridges the gap between our call center operations and HR functions. This position is pivotal in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our call center while contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will be adept at providing real-time assistance and support through online chat platforms, managing HR-related tasks, and fostering a supportive environment for our employees. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling to streamline our recruitment process. Facilitate new hire onboarding to ensure a seamless integration into our team, setting them up for success. Employee Relations: Act as a primary contact for HR-related inquiries and concerns from call center employees, providing timely and effective support. Support employee engagement initiatives and address workplace issues with empathy and professionalism. HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including attendance and performance metrics. Process HR paperwork, such as contracts and terminations, with precision and confidentiality. Training & Development: Help organize and coordinate training sessions and development programs tailored to the needs of our staff. Track and report on employee training progress, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws, staying updated on any changes or developments. Prepare and maintain HR reports on staffing and turnover, providing insights that inform strategic decisions. Support & Coordination: Collaborate with HR team members on various HR functions and initiatives, contributing to a cohesive and effective HR strategy. Coordinate with call center management to meet staffing and operational needs, ensuring alignment and efficiency. Requirements Essential Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in HR principles and practices. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a call center or customer service environment, showcasing your ability to navigate the complexities of HR in a fast-paced setting. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail that ensures accuracy and quality in your work. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with employees at all levels. Preferred Qualifications Technical proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies.
