Job Summary This role is responsible for providing Oracle Cloud HCM functional consulting services in your focused area by acting as a subject matter expert and leading clients through the implementation lifecycle. Job Title: Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) Consultant Classification: Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Reports to: President Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site at client location. Percentage of travel to client sites, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies. Job Summary: This role is responsible for providing Oracle Cloud HCM functional consulting services in your focused area by acting as a subject matter expert and leading clients through the implementation lifecycle. The role will also contribute in a variety of ways in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your leading-edge consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains. Essential Functions: • Be the consultative authority on all things Oracle Cloud HCM in your modules of expertise to guide our clients through an Oracle Cloud HCM implementation as the workstream lead • Clear understanding in two or more areas of the Cloud HCM suite of products & functionality - Global HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence Management, Payroll, Workforce Compensation, Learning, Recruiting and Talent (Performance, Goals, Career Development and Succession Planning and Profile Management) • Hands-on implementation experience in configuring components of Oracle Cloud HCM • Be comfortable leading deep discussions to educate and, at times, negotiate towards decisions when needed • Configure the Oracle Cloud HCM Application to meet client requirements and document application set-ups • Demonstrated expertise in your focused areas through multiple projects of varying sizes/industries and ability to stay intensely current in your ongoing knowledge of your module(s) Duties/Responsibilities: • Maintain and pursue continuing education opportunities, such as training and certification exams. • Participate on internal projects. • Provide expertise and help to others, as needed, on projects. • Performs other duties as assigned. Competency: • Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices. • Prior experience in requirements gathering, reporting tools and creating end user manuals • Someone who can architect solutions beyond just having the experience. Someone who can figure out the pieces, who can be creative with the solutions, who is a go getter. • Willingness to get hands on with the product. • Thorough understanding of Oracle principles and planning. • Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry. • Flexible to changing needs. • Ability to deliver high quality work products on time and under pressure • Organized with attention to detail. • Good at follow-up. • Ability to work independently and works well with a team. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Required Skills/Experiences: • Minimum of three years' experience in a Functional HCM Lead role with exposure to global, cross-pillar Cloud projects • Minimum of at least three Oracle Cloud HCM implementation project participation and/or go-lives, preferably cross-pillar and global • Excellent teamwork and communication skills • Detail-oriented and ability to successfully drive projects to completion • Quick learner and go-getter • Ability to work independently • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Supervisory Responsibilities: • May assist with training members of the technical staff. • May conduct interviews. • Assigns duties and responsibilities and oversees workflow of project staff. • May conduct project performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Work Environment: The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to provide office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer. • Bending, sitting lifting, driving. Position Type and expected hours of work: • Full time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required. Required Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer or Information Science-related field or commensurate experience required.
