Job Summary: Outpatient Clinical Documentation Specialist Join Enjoin as an Outpatient Clinical Documentation Specialist (OP CDS) and play a key role in ensuring accurate, complete, and clinically valid documentation for physician clinic encounters. You'll work closely with medical records to identify opportunities for improvement in diagnoses, coding, and compliance, supporting outcomes in ICD-10-CM, Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), and Evaluation and Management (E&M). Key Responsibilities: • Review outpatient medical records to identify risk adjustment diagnoses and coding compliance opportunities for CMS-HCC and HHS-HCC programs. • Perform clinical validation of documented diagnoses, identifying query opportunities to improve documentation accuracy. • Collaborate with Enjoin physicians to review coding recommendations and complete client-specific workflows. • Document chart review findings in the designated Enjoin database. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about improving clinical documentation accuracy and compliance in outpatient settings. Requirements: • AAPC or AHIMA credential required. • At least 2 years of HCC Risk Adjustment coding/auditing experience for an academic hospital required. • Proficiency in CMS-HCC, HHS-HCC, ICD-10 coding guidelines, E/M coding, and familiarity with healthcare regulations and reimbursement requirements required. • Strong knowledge of disease processes and clinical chart review, with prior Clinical Documentation Specialist or CDI program experience preferred. Schedule: This is a remote, full-time, 40 hour per week position. General hours of work are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Interview Process: • 1. Apply today! • 2.
