Overnight Project Support Specialist
Wachter, Inc. is seeking an Overnight Remote Project Support Specialist who provides off-site project and technical support to field data technicians performing overnight installations of network devices and camera systems. The role focuses on interpreting floor plans, verifying camera and device locations, and managing documentation to ensure accurate and efficient installations. Responsibilities Provide real-time remote support to on-site technicians during overnight network and camera installations Interpret and review floor plans, construction drawings, and camera layouts to guide proper device placement Confirm camera fields of view, mounting locations, and network device positioning based on project plans Assist technicians with understanding scope of work, site layouts, and installation requirements Track project progress and provide status updates to project managers and stakeholders Maintain accurate documentation, including device locations, revisions, and as-built changes Identify discrepancies between plans and field conditions and escalate issues as needed Support troubleshooting related to camera placement, network connectivity, and installation sequencing Communicate clearly and effectively via phone, chat, or video with overnight field teams Ensure work aligns with project standards, customer requirements, and design specifications Skills High school diploma or equivalent (technical or design-related education preferred) Experience in project support, network deployments, security systems, or technical coordination Ability to read and interpret floor plans, site drawings, and camera layouts Familiarity with IP cameras, network devices, and basic networking concepts Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to work overnight shifts consistently Comfortable working independently in a remote or office-based environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience supporting field technicians remotely Knowledge of camera coverage planning, fields of view, and mounting best practices Familiarity with CAD drawings, PDFs, or floor plan software Experience with project tracking, ticketing, or collaboration tools Company Overview Wachter is on the cutting-edge of technology and infrastructure installation and has been since 1930.
