Role: Packet Broker Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 12+ Months Interview Mode: Video Skillset Required Physical packet broker: architecture, configurations; Extreme and Keysight solutions Virtual packet broker: architecture, configurations; Gigamon solutions VCP WebScale and OpenStack deployments (Core NEC, Edge SAP) End-to-end visibility workflows for 4G/5G interfaces Traffic/KPI validation (NG1 NetScout) Remote probing architecture and configurations Knowledge of 4G/5G call flows Responsibilities Design, creation of engineering docs, layer 1 testing, configuration, deployment, migration, and post-migration testing/troubleshooting in pre-production Remote probing configuration and testing across 52 SAP sites (4G/5G VoLTE, VoNR, LTE, etc.) Next-Gen packet broker migration (Extreme Keysight) SLX rebalancing config deployment to address SLX packet limit issues (22 sites) Virtual packet broker deployments in WebScale 1.5 + expansion rollouts Work with HQ/vendors to test software/enhancements (health monitoring, advanced filtering) Deploy and validate packet broker configurations Employers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
