As a part-time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the success of our clients and the growth of our organization. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers, ensuring high-quality output and meeting client turnaround times. Navigate efficiently through imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry, utilizing your technical skills and attention to detail. Differentiate between various claim types and follow established data entry guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify specific document types that require special handling and process them accordingly. Collaborate with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times, supporting a team-oriented environment. Support additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, contributing to the team's overall quality and performance. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed, showcasing your willingness to take on new challenges. Alert management to potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing errors. Essential Qualifications To be a successful candidate for this role, you must possess: A high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundational level of education. 6 months or more of experience in a data entry or typing-focused role, showcasing your proficiency in data entry and typing skills. Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and speed. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output and minimizing errors. A high degree of accuracy, with the ability to meet the required accuracy rate of 98%. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in the healthcare industry or with insurance claims processing. Familiarity with imaging software and data entry systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
