About the position As part of a broader HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, our future payroll operating model will be fully comprehensive! It will be divided between a professional HR BPO for zero-to-gross processing and lead payroll (gross-to-net) with industry-leading payroll providers. We are seeking a Payroll Manager to play a crucial role in leading payroll service delivery within the country. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in payroll processes and related systems to perform responsibilities optimally. Key duties include resolving payroll process issues, auditing input data for accuracy, reporting vital corrections, and controlling payroll processes and reports from payroll vendors. This position will serve as the primary operational contact with payroll vendors and internal clients. Responsibilities • Contribute significantly to the payroll transformation initiative in the country working alongside the Regional Payroll Lead, managing the external partners and payroll providers engaged in this transformation and Payroll Operations. , • Ensure that the processes are performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations, legislation, and company policies. , • Support the country payroll process and acts as the first responder in any payroll related inquiries and discrepancies. , • Monitor and report process performance against KPIs. , • Maintain the communication with local and regional collaborators and partners (such as local HR, HR Services, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, etc.) to ensure alignment with the global payroll standards and policies. , • Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements • Degree in HR or a combination of HR/Payroll desirable, with 5+ years' experience in leading Payroll Operations in United States including Puerto Rico. , • CPP or FPP is a plus. , • Experience in supporting the management/service management of an eco-system of partners/vendors in Payroll Services. , • Tracked record in supporting the delivery of change/improvement payroll projects. , • Collaborative style, happy to interact with many collaborators e.g., in HR Centers of Competence and HR in the Regions, IT department, Finance department, management. , • Self-motivated to drive initiatives through to completion as an individual contributor and through others. Ability to thrive in a global environment, working flexibly where required. , • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
