Payroll Tax Specialist (Temporary)

They are seeking a Payroll Tax Specialist to coordinate federal, state, and local payroll tax issues and provide tax support to payroll specialists during a temporary assignment. Responsibilities Coordinate the preparation and review of all federal, state and local payroll tax returns in conjunction with the VP HR Ops and tax contracting company Perform tax research on a variety of federal and state issues as needed, including during acquisitions Assist with developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize federal and state tax expense Assist with federal, state and local tax examinations Review, respond to and resolve various federal, state, and local tax notices Process payroll and payroll functions as needed Special projects as needed Skills Must have a best practice/continuous improvement mindset Proficient in federal, state, and local income tax Must have the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and be a self-starter Strong tax technical skills preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred Company Overview US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) is committed to protecting and continually improving the quality of patient care.
