We're looking for a hands-on People Operations & Total Rewards Manager to build and elevate the systems, programs, and processes that power Torq's growth. You'll own our US benefits, perks, and leave programs, support compensation strategy, and strengthen the operational backbone that enables a seamless Torqer experience. What You'll Do Total Rewards • Own and elevate Torq's US benefits and perks, including vendor management and annual renewals • Research, benchmark, and propose competitive TR offerings that support a distributed, high-growth workforce • Manage end-to-end leave administration (FMLA, ADA, state programs, parental leave), including return-to-work support for employees and managers • Serve as the go-to expert for benefits questions, escalations, and QLEs; ensure compliance across ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and state requirements • Lead audits, notices, and documentation • Support compensation strategy through benchmarking, market surveys, modeling, and insights that guide pay decisions People Operations, Systems & Compliance • Build and maintain scalable People processes that support every stage of the employee lifecycle • Ensure compliance with multi-state labor laws and documentation standards • Maintain HRIS systems (Bob, ADP), including configuration, workflows, improvements, and data hygiene • Drive automation and process improvements that increase accuracy and reduce manual work • Partner with Finance & Legal to keep payroll, benefits, and compliance data tightly aligned • Serve as a trusted resource for policy and People Operations questions • Support operational readiness for future scaling needs What You'll Bring • 5-8+ years in Total Rewards, People Ops and/or hybrid HR roles • Deep expertise in US benefits, leave programs, and vendor/broker management • Strong analytical skills - you're comfortable in spreadsheets and modeling • Hands-on experience with benchmarking and HRIS systems (HiBob, ADP, or similar) • Solid understanding of multi-state compliance and People Ops best practices • High ownership, precision, and follow-through - you like getting things right • Natural curiosity and an interest in digging into data, workflows, and process improvements that improve the employee experience Why You'll Love It Here • You'll help build the operational systems that power Torq's People function and Torq'er experience • You'll have real ownership and autonomy to improve processes and programs from start to finish • You'll have exposure to a global team and fantastic teammates • You'll have a growth path into Ops, TR, Systems, or People leadership • You'll help shape a scalable, high-performing People engine as Torq continues to grow As an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to a team defined and empowered by diversity.
