Performance Tester (LoadRunner, C , JavaScript and DevWeb experience)
Start date for this position in March 2026. The position is remote but must be located in the United States. 75.00 per hour as Experis employee with benefits Sub-vendor rate is 85.00 Required to have working experience on LoadRunner with C and JavaScript languages. Has to have DevWeb experience. Client will be asking in depth questions on LoadRunner, C, JavaScript languages and DevWeb. Required Experience 10 years of hands-on experience in Performance Engineering with exclusive focus on LoadRunner (VUGen, Controller, Analysis). Required to have Experience using DevWeb in LoadRunner. Required to have LoadRunner with C and JavaScript languages Required experience testing applications with APIs secured by SSO, including SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect flows. Proven expertise designing and executing scenario-based performance tests simulating real-world user patterns and peak concurrency. LoadRunner correlation, parameterization, custom functions Performance monitoring tools (SiteScope, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, CloudWatch, or similar) Reading and interpreting server logs, thread dumps, database query plans Strong understanding of distributed architectures, web technologies, caching, queues, and backend microservices. Experience diagnosing and resolving performance bottlenecks in API-driven and workflow-based systems. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance testing into build/release processes. Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. Preferred Experience: Experience working in large enterprise environments (public sector, education, etc.). Familiarity with testing large case management, workflow, or data-intensive applications. Understanding of cloud-hosted environments (Azure/AWS), containers, and scalable architectures. Experience working with SQL and analyzing relational database performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive performance test strategies covering load, stress, spike, endurance/soak, scalability, concurrency, and volume testing. Work with architects, developers, and QA leads to analyze requirements and define performance acceptance criteria, SLAs, and KPIs. Create and maintain robust LoadRunner scripts for Web, HTTP/HTTPS, Web Services, REST APIs, and other supported protocols. Build performance test scenarios representing realistic, multi-step business workflows, including authenticated flows using SSO (OAuth2, AzureAD). Parameterize, correlate, and tune scripts for accuracy, scalability, and maintainability. Validate test data requirements and design appropriate data-seeding strategies. Execute performance test cycles in controlled environments and monitor system behavior across application servers, databases, APIs, and infrastructure components. Collaborate with DevOps/Infra teams to configure test environments, monitoring tools, and logging frameworks. Analyze results using LoadRunner Analysis and other monitoring dashboards to identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, thread contention, CPU utilization issues, network latency, and API-level degradation. Produce clear and actionable performance test reports, including root cause analysis and optimization recommendations.
