Job Description Legacy Onshore is seeking a Title Landman with 5+ years’ experience running title in the Greater Permian Basin, West Texas & New Mexico counties to be disclosed upon hiring. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment with the ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities include runsheets/abstracts on surface, mineral, royalty, and leasehold estates. This role requires familiarity with the challenges of the Greater Permian, Delaware, and Midland Basins as well as the online resources available via the Texas Railroad Commission and NMOCD, and includes computing complex working and net revenue interests and analyzing and interpreting sophisticated leasehold provisions. Responsibilities • Research county records to provide ownership of the surface, mineral, royalty, and leasehold estates on subject tracts of land. • Provide thorough runsheets/abstracts and reports to your project manager for further review and comments. • Meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities in an environment with shifting timeframes. Mandatory Requirements • Minimum of 5 years’ experience researching mineral and leasehold title in the Permian. • Ability to compute complex working and net revenue interests. • Ability to analyze and detail sophisticated leasehold provisions. • Ability to meet specific deadlines, daily and weekly, based on current internal and client needs. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of management, both verbal and written. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; specifically Excel and Word. • Experience with Adobe Acrobat. • Access to Dropbox for file sharing purposes. • Active AAPL Membership Company Description See our company website for further description: Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
