In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our pharmacy programs, ensuring efficient delivery of medications and exceptional customer service. Oversee and manage all aspects of Aetna's pharmacy programs, including operational processes, staffing, and budgeting. Ensure efficient delivery of medications to members, including timely and accurate prescription fulfillment, inventory management, and distribution. Lead a team of pharmacy professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality care for members. Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy program efficiency and effectiveness, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving measures, and innovative solutions to enhance the member experience. Monitor and analyze pharmacy program performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership. Stay current on industry developments and trends, and proactively adjust pharmacy programs to align with best practices and market demands. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and a high-performing team by providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities for staff. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
