About the Role: Physician Assistant Placement Specialist We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant Placement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical placement team, you'll serve as the primary liaison between our organization and partnering institutions, healthcare facilities, and preceptors. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless clinical experiences for our students, and your passion for healthcare education will drive our mission forward. Key Responsibilities: Identify and establish new placement settings and preceptors for students, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. Interact with clinical agencies to plan and schedule student group clinical or individual preceptor rotations, ensuring timely and effective placement. Communicate with students to set clear expectations for the placement process and provide updates throughout the process, ensuring a positive experience. Support students in adhering to placement guidelines and policies, and assist with navigating requirements for clearance. Exhibit professional conduct in all interactions, representing our organization and department with integrity and expertise. Utilize student relations management systems and onboarding platforms to ensure efficient placement and matching with healthcare facilities. Research new potential sites for students to complete their healthcare clinical rotations, expanding our network and opportunities. Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to student placement, driving success and excellence. Maintain an updated database of healthcare facilities in multiple online systems, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Document and track clinical rotation assignments, ensuring accurate records and compliance. Essential Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in a relevant field. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, with an understanding of medical processes and healthcare operations. Experience with Salesforce, leveraging technology to drive placement success. Experience with clinical placement/scheduling, showcasing expertise in managing complex logistics. Experience working in higher education, understanding the nuances of academic environments. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree or certification in a relevant field, such as Physician Assistant studies. Previous experience in a clinical placement or healthcare education setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
