PI Customer Service Rep- Remote

Customer Service Representative will perform various tasks from a remote setting, including managing communications via phones and multiple software applications, and handling medical records according to HIPAA regulations. This position requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Serve as the first point of contact for adjusters, attorneys record retrieval companies and patients via phone and email, providing friendly and efficient service. • Relay messages from requesters to appropriate team members or departments utilizing multiple software applications • Manage and organize incoming and outgoing PI records and billing requests, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups. • Ensure all patient information is kept confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA regulations. • * Minimum 55 accounts worked per day • Participate in regular team meetings via video or teleconference. • Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service. • Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment. • Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have a High School diploma with two or more years of CSR experience. Must have knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Knowledge of Medical Billing is a plus. • Must be able to communicate effectively with attorneys, physicians, patients, and the public and establish good working relationships with internal and external customers. • Must be proficient in telephone etiquette. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
