Pricing/ Sr/ Analyst/Manager /Generic Pharma experience required/

Job Type Full-time Description As the Pricing, Sr. Analyst/Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing pricing guidelines for our products. You will closely watch the market and develop a strategic pricing plan to ensure we remain competitive while maximizing revenue and profitability across our product portfolio. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Pricing Strategy Development: Develop pricing strategies for both new and existing products, taking into account market dynamics, competitor pricing, and product positioning. Pricing Analysis: Conduct thorough pricing analysis, including pricing optimization, market segmentation, and customer segmentation, to identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement. Must be able to perform basic financial analysis to determine product profitability. Ensure compliance with customer contractual agreements including but not limited to MFN clauses, shelf stock adjustments, initial order discounts, and the impact of WAC changes on the organizations profitability and cash flow. Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and regulatory changes affecting the pharmaceutical industry. Must be able to work with large datasets to identify current market trends. Knowledge of the generic pharmaceutical industry and the industries customer base is necessary. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain, to align pricing strategies with business objectives and ensure implementation of pricing initiatives. Performance Monitoring: Monitor pricing performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), such as Average Sale Price (ASP), Gross Margin, and Revenue, to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make data-driven recommendations for optimization. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in pricing analysis and decision-making processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pricing effectiveness and efficiency. Requirements Minimum Experience & Education Required • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree preferred • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis, pricing strategy development, or related field, within the generic pharmaceutical industry requied. Minimum Knowledge & Skills Required • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and pricing modeling techniques. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present complex pricing concepts to stakeholders. • Proficiecy in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools. Experience with pricing software or ERP systems is a plus. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and pricing regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical industry. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
