Principal Backend Engineer | Fully Remote | $200K | Full-Time
A rapidly growing tech company is looking for two Principal Backend Engineers to help drive the evolution of their backend infrastructure. This is a full-time role offering up to $200K with full remote flexibility. Ideal candidates must have recent startup experience (companies under 300 employees) and strong leadership skills, as they will be leading efforts to modernize backend systems. The role is 100% backend with a focus on Java, Spring Boot, document store databases (Firebase, MongoDB, etc.), and cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Services, Linux, Docker, Snowflake). This is an exciting opportunity to own and lead the transition from Apache Mesos to a more modern infrastructure.
