Principal Engineer Outside Plant

Verizon is looking for an experienced and motivated Principal Engineer Outside Plant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, engineering, and construction of outside plant telecom networks. You will work closely with other engineers, contractors, and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.To be successful in this position, you will need to have an in-depth understanding of outside plant engineering, telecom network deployment, and applicable industry standards. Responsibilities: Oversee the design, engineering, and construction of outside plant telecom networks. Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget. Possess an in-depth understanding of outside plant engineering, telecom network deployment, and applicable industry standards. Develop and maintain positive relationships with external vendors and contractors. Ensure all projects are completed according to applicable industry standards. Monitor project progress and provide feedback to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective outside plant engineering operations. Review and analyze existing outside plant engineering operations to identify areas for improvement. Ensure safety regulations are followed at all times.
