We are currently looking to hire a Principal Engineer-Pro Services to join our team! The Principal Engineer-Pro Services serves as the organization's top technical authority for enterprise networking, cloud connectivity, and modern infrastructure architecture. Provides strategic guidance, sets long-term architectural direction, and leads the design and implementation of complex network systems. Plays a key role in driving adoption of innovative technologies to advance organizational goals. What you'll do: • Define and drive long-term architectural vision, technology roadmap, and engineering best practices to guide strategic initiatives. • Lead end-to-end design and architecture for large-scale distributed systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications, ensuring performance and security. • Mentor senior engineers and foster cross-functional collaboration through technical coaching, working groups, and steering committees. • Oversee technical execution of mission-critical projects, troubleshoot high-severity issues, and enforce standards for code quality, automation, and observability. • Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders, support build vs. buy decisions, and contribute to IT governance and security frameworks. Requirements What you bring to the team: • 6+ Years Experience software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or systems architecture experience. • Availability to consult, assist, and/or perform after-hours support. • Ability to travel, as needed. • Enterprise Architecture & Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of large-scale distributed systems and cloud platforms (Cisco, AWS, Azure, GCP). • Programming & Automation: Advanced proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, Go, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript, with an automation-first approach. • Modern Engineering Practices: Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code. • Simplify: Problem Solving, Strategic Thinking • Be Transparent: Integrity, Communication, Trustworthiness • Act Like an Owner: Accountability, Leadership, Business Acumen Education: • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ Years Professional Experience Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. It routinely requires the use of standard office equipment including computers, phones, and printers. The employee must be able to sit, stand, and move around regularly and may occasionally need to lift up to 25 pounds. This role may require travel to US Signal Data Centers. All US Signal employees will comply with US Signal Information Security policies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of US Signal and customer data.
