As a Principal QA Automation Engineer at Yahoo!, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. With your expertise in automation testing, you will lead a team of talented engineers to develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. Lead a team of talented engineers in implementing and executing automation testing strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for automation testing. Conduct thorough and comprehensive testing to identify and report any bugs or issues. Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements to the development team. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation testing. Mentor and train junior team members on automation testing techniques and best practices. Take ownership of the overall quality of our products and ensure that they meet the highest standards. Work closely with product managers to understand user requirements and ensure that they are met through testing. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our automation testing efforts. Collaborate with other QA team members to continuously improve our QA processes and procedures. Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and issues related to product quality. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code is being delivered. Act as a subject matter expert in automation testing and provide guidance to the rest of the team.
