Principal Recruiter, Healthcare Information Technology

Job Description: • Lead full-cycle recruiting for complex, senior-level healthcare information technology roles across short-term, long-term, and project-based assignments • Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare information systems, advising candidates and internal stakeholders on roles, technologies, and market trends • Proactively source, engage, and recruit highly specialized healthcare IT professionals, building long-term, trust-based relationships • Educate candidates on Aya’s clients and the professional and personal benefits of healthcare IT consulting and contract work • Partner with internal teams to understand evolving client needs and translate them into effective recruiting strategies • Generate candidate leads through advanced sourcing strategies, referrals, networking, and market expertise • Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare IT professionals across various specialties (e.g., business analysts, EHR/EMR, clinical systems, data & analytics, cybersecurity, revenue cycle, interoperability) • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of recruiting processes, tools, metrics, and best practices • Support recruiting team infrastructure through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and informal leadership • Demonstrate strong motivation to achieve recruiting goals while balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining urgency, organization, and attention to detail • Champion a client- and candidate-centered mindset with a passion for service excellence • Continuously seek improvement, innovation, and professional growth Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree required • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare Information Technology recruiting, staffing, or a comparable metrics-driven recruiting environment • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in healthcare information systems and healthcare IT roles • Proven success recruiting senior-level or highly specialized healthcare IT professionals • Experience providing leadership, mentorship, or guidance within a recruiting team • Experience contributing to or building recruiting team infrastructure, processes, or operating models • Strong consultative, communication, and relationship-building skills • Passionate about creating exceptional experiences for healthcare IT professionals • Strategic, resourceful, and “outside-the-box” thinker • Career-oriented with a desire to lead, influence, and grow • Enthusiastic about joining a high-performing recruiting organization that recognizes and rewards expertise Benefits: • Free premium medical, dental, life and vision insurance • Generous 401(k) match • Aya also offers other benefits to those that are eligible and where required by applicable law, including reimbursements and discretionary bonuses • Aya provides paid sick leave in accordance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws.
