Type: Full time - Remote Location: Remote - open to all EU locations; residency preferable from Central and Eastern Europe or Turkey Job Description We’re looking for a Senior/Principal Game Designer to join and help us on our adventure to make great player-centric experiences! This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates based in the EU or Turkey. Join a globally distributed team working at the forefront of game innovation. About UserWise UserWise is a fast-growing game services company that partners with top studios to scale and operate games reaching millions of players. We specialize in LiveOps, product strategy, game development, and monetization – with a strong focus on speed, quality, and creative impact. Our partners include iconic IPs and leading publishers across mobile and hybrid-casual games. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop core-loops, systems, gameplay, and rewards for casual/hybrid casual games. • Own feature designs and drive it through the production cycle into release and live-ops. • Collaborate with Design & Product Management to brainstorm, design, and iterate on features. • Collaborate with UX and UI to build wireframes and flows that accentuate the feature design. • Work with developers to ensure that designs are translated into code as per spec. • Develop post-launch/live-ops features by Integrating events to support the game throughout its life-cycle. • Pitch, communicate, and maintain a holistic view of the game design to facilitate production and vet ideas. • Pitch and suggest ideas that can help overcome complex problems to create a better player experience. • Deconstruct competitor game systems, loops, & features. • 5+ years experience in designing features and building games for live-service games. • Extensive understanding, skills, and experience with core-loop, gameplay, and systems design. • Proven success in gameplay, game system design, balancing, and live-ops strategies. • Experience on game engines like Unity is a plus. • Player centric design and strong player empathy. • Understanding other design areas outside gameplay and systems is a plus. • Passion for playing and making games. • Knowledge in latest mobile gaming trends. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • English is the primary working language; candidates must be fluent in spoken and written English • Market competitive, tax-free USD salaries • Paid Time Off • Performance Bonus • Annual Performance Reviews Original job Principal / Senior Game Designer /Mobile F2P - Licensed IP/ posted on GrabJobs ©.
