Description Principal Service Engineer IS We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Principal Service Engineer to join our IS Asset and Supply Chain Management team. This role will collaborate closely with 3rd Party Logistics Partners, End User Support, and internal ServiceNow and Oracle teams to deliver exceptional IS equipment services to our caregivers. The ideal candidate is passionate about transforming IT service delivery at scale, with a strong background in continuous improvement, AI-driven user experiences, and a commitment to streamlining hardware fulfillment processes—including IT asset disposition (ITAD), project-based orders, imaging, and ServiceNow data integrity. Providence supports 100% virtual work for residents located in the following areas: • Alaska • Washington • Oregon • Montana • California • Texas: Lubbock • Texas: Levelland • Texas: Plainview Required Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree - Supply Chain, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience • 8 years Related experience; more preferred. • Strong experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes. • Strong experience with n-tier solutions. • Strong experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually). • Strong experience influencing engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations. • Strong experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site requirements. • Strong experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. • Strong experience in advanced problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis. Preferred Qualifications • Master's Degree - Supply Chain, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience • Experience in a Healthcare environment • PMP Certification • Agile development experience • 8 or more years of experience leading service engineering initiatives across complex, global supply chain environments, driving operational excellence system reliability, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions • Experience managing inventory or working in a supply planning role • Lead end-to-end design and implementation of scalable service engineering solutions for global supply chain systems • Develop and optimize automation frameworks to improve supply chain reliability, uptime, and performance. • Strong proficiency in scripting (e.g., Power Automate) to support diagnostics, monitoring, and automation • Expert in supply chain logistics, fulfillment, and inventory management systems • Partner with operations and planning teams to identify and resolve systemic issues impacting supply continuity • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and order fulfillment • Collaborate with vendors and third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless integration and service delivery • Implement KPIs and dashboards to monitor service health and supply chain performance in real time • Lead feedback reviews and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence Salary Range by Location: • AK: Anchorage: Min: $68.33, Max: $116.36 • AK: Kodiak, Seward, Valdez: Min: $71.23, Max: $121.29 • California: Humboldt: Min: $71.23, Max: $121.29 • California: Northern California - Except Humboldt: Min: $79.92, Max: $136.08 • California: Southern California: Min: $71.23, Max: $121.29 • Montana: Except Great Falls: Min: $55.01, Max: $93.68 • Montana: Great Falls: Min: $52.12, Max: $88.75 • Oregon: Non-Portland Service Area: Min: $63.70, Max: $108.47 • Oregon: Portland Service Area: Min: $68.33, Max: $116.36 • Texas – Lubbock, Levelland, Plainview: Min: Min: $52.12, Max: $88.75 • Washington: Western: Min: $71.23, Max: $121.29 • Washington: Southwest - Olympia, Centralia: Min: $68.33, Max: $116.36 • Washington: Clark County: Min: $68.33, Max: $116.36 • Washington: Eastern: Min: $60.81, Max: $103.54 • Washington: Southeastern: Min: $63.70, Max: $108.47 Why Join Providence?
