Principal Specialist, Admin supporting Global Security (Hybrid)

The following position is to join our RTX Global Security Services team, reporting to the RTX Chief Security Officer. Responsibilities • Administrative support for the function, calendar management, meeting coordination and resolution of conflicts. • Coordinate leadership/executive travel arrangements including completing appropriate expense reporting in a timely fashion. • Organize and attend executive staff meetings, coordinate agendas, take meeting notes and actions, follow-up on outstanding actions and ensure timely closure of commitments as assigned. • Plan and support CSO's organizational events, including Council meetings and department all-hands meetings. • Provide timely and consistent communication assistance to ensure alignment with overall function and future state goals and objectives. • Support special projects and change management project coordination. • Plan and coordinate offsite meetings with the leadership team. • Maintain accurate, updated organization charts and contact information for entire leadership team (and delegates). Provide targeted support to include logistics and coordination, to sub-functions where growth and centralization activities are planned. • Assist in preparation of powerpoint presentations for leadership meetings, prepare and maintain excel spreadsheets as needed. • Act as the POC for our senior leadership team, providing a single point of reference where leaders can direct questions and provide coordination for our leadership team for all external and internal customers. • CORE coordinator and leader for function who exhibits use of continuous improvement tools. • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment supporting on-site and remote employee activities, as needed in Farmington, CT. Requirements • Typically a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years' related experience in an executive administrative support role. • Excellent organizational skills and follow-up skills are required, as well as the ability to prioritize needs and work independently. • Exhibit highly proficient use of productivity and collaboration tools, including MS office 365 suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, etc.) Ability and desire to adapt to changing technologies. • Good Project management skills and high attention to detail. • Demonstrated experience with handling confidential and non-routine information. • Strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain a strong network of support to facilitate accomplishing deliverables. • Self-starter with solid time management skills. • Establish detailed knowledge of the Corporate Leadership team members and locations. Nice-to-haves • Experience working in Security and/or Cyber disciplines is preferred. A basic understanding of the function is beneficial in order to assist with some day-to-day actions and the ability to direct questions to the appropriate teams.
