The Role We are looking for a Procurement Specialist ( m/f/d) to join our Regional Project Procurement & Logistics Team in Leonding. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the specified scope (package /material) is managed in own direction and is completely delivered at the required location and at the right time as per contractual requirement. Key missions: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for: · Ensures on time placement of Purchase Orders · Preparation of Request for Quotations · Negotiation with suppliers for smaller scope, else it is with the separate sourcing function · Supplier management · Oversees claim management with the suppliers in coordination with PM/Engineering · Organization of small transports · Customs clearance for PT (just product delivery projects)- incoterms FCA for two PT projects · Ensures invoices are released in accordance with the process in place. · Supports compliance with the Quality and EHS rules as applicable to the sourcing function. · Responsible for ordering stock and indirect material · Shall ensure that the Contractor's baseline schedule is available for tracking and monitoring. · Drives progress reviews with the suppliers and ensures that all Progress reports are received from the suppliers in the correct form at the correct time. · Expedites the suppliers for progress of packages allocated for his scope including coordination with internal disciplines to meet the project on-time deliveries. · PLAN-vs.-ACTUAL comparative analysis of manufacturing planning, raw material procurement and actual manufacturing activities. · Anticipates risks and opportunity in progressing with Suppliers. · In case of deviations from specifications (non-conformances), assessing the effect thereof on achieving on-time delivery in coordination with Engineering/Supplier Quality. · Works with the suppliers to overcome delays with a concurred mitigation plan. · Shall highlight any bottlenecks reported by Supplier as “Areas of concern”. · Shall issue relevant notifications to supplier in case of delays or issue request for time extension where delay is not attributable to supplier. Shall issue Contractual Letters to Suppliers with support of Sourcing/Contract Management. · Shall be responsible for Goods Reception to be entered in SAP/ERP system and ensure it reflects accurate Ontime Delivery OTD. · Shall provide Supplier Performance feedback to Sourcing/Commodity Leader. · Shall follow all Procurement Processes & Tools. Desired Profile & Experience · Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Additionally at least 3 years of relevant experience is required. · Proven knowledge of the products being procured / monitored. · Basic knowledge of Quality. · Basic knowledge on planning and scheduling associated with the production of High Voltage Substations , thermal power plant equipment’s. · Languages: fluent in written and spoken English. · Knowledge of local language in the country of employment is considered as an advantage. • Working in SAP, using different PM tools · Pro-active and problem-solving attitude · Networking and communication skills · Organizational skills including prioritization and resource deployment. · Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
