Job Summary We're looking for a Product Compliance Analyst to support our product development, enhancement, compliance, and State filings. As a key member of our compliance team, you'll be responsible for reviewing regulatory changes, drafting policy language, and submitting filings to State Insurance Departments. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities Review incoming regulatory changes from OneSumX and determine their impact on Assurant programs and products Prepare internal compliance reviews that summarize regulatory changes and outline required changes to filed forms, rates, and rules Draft policy language that's clear, concise, and compliant with State and Federal laws, as well as achieving Company desired results Update policy language based on input from Business, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Legal teams Submit new product, product enhancement, or compliance filings to State Insurance Departments Analyze and prepare checklists, certifications, transmittals, and submission letters Submit filings to State Insurance Departments via SERFF and pay filing fees via EFT Prepare responses to objections and inquiries from Insurance Departments regarding product and compliance filings Research and gather Company filings to provide responses to Market Conduct requests, State surveys, Data calls, Litigation requests, and internal and external audits Complete State Filing System requirements, including supplemental data, replacement, and marketed product association information Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Associate's degree in a related field 2 years of experience in the insurance industry Strong written, drafting, and editing skills, including accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work with ambiguity and frequently changing priorities Time management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications: Paralegal or Insurance designation Knowledge of SERFF and experience in submitting State filings Working knowledge of insurance terminology and ability to research industry regulations Willingness to learn new things and take on-the-job training courses or external insurance courses Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal employees, State Regulators, and external representatives Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and project management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to balance compliance with Business and Company strategies and directives Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal employees, State Regulators, and external representatives Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At WorkWarp, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
