Job Summary As a Production Operator, General Labor, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient production of high-quality cheese products. Your duties will include feeding and loading cheese, folding bags, reworking and re-dicing, handpacking cheese, and performing general housekeeping duties. You will also be responsible for monitoring cheese quality during packaging, operating pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean work area according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety policies. Key Responsibilities: Feed and load cheese, fold bags, rework and re-dice, handpack cheese, and perform general housekeeping duties Monitor cheese quality during packaging and perform product sort visual and metal detection system checks Maintain a clean work area according to GMP and safety policies Operate pallet jacks (manual and motorized) and hand palletize product Perform record-keeping duties and other tasks as assigned Display recognition of quality control problems such as frozen/soft cheese, extraneous, and proper blend considerations Promote good teamwork and communicate effectively with co-workers Qualifications: Essential Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language Must be able to perform essential job functions of position with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to meet shift/schedule requirements and work necessary overtime as needed Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment Knowledge of GMP and safety policies Experience with pallet jacks and other material handling equipment What We Offer: Competitive Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of $26.48 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for career growth and advancement Career Growth Opportunities: At Leprino Foods Company, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
