Professional Coach and Content Educator

Title: Professional Coach and Content Educator Location: Remote Job Description: Pathstream helps frontline and early‑career employees grow into high‑impact contributors. We partner with leading enterprises, universities, and technology companies to upskill teams and unlock career mobility in a rapidly changing workplace. We are hiring a Professional Coach and Content Educator to guide working learners as they progress through an online certificate program designed to help them build durable skills and be more effective at work. You will provide 1:1 professional coaching and offer educator‑style support to help frontline learners build skills, persist through challenges, and apply learning on the job. This is a part‑time, remote contract role reporting to Coaching Operations. This role will require you to combine an educator mindset with 1:1 coaching expertise. Time commitment: Approximately 15–25 hours per week, based on your availability and learner demand. What you’ll do Coaching: • Mindset Development: In live Zoom calls, deliver 1:1 bi-weekly coaching sessions focused on helping the coachee overcome blockers to learning new skills and improving in their role • Accountability & Motivation: Build trust quickly with working adults in frontline and supervisor roles; help them sustain motivation and build confidence • Feedback & Reflection: Provide real-time verbal feedback through practice roleplays and other interactive activities; create a non-judgemental space for meaningful reflection and goal setting. Educator and content support: • Offer clear, scaffolded explanations of key concepts and skills, checking for understanding, providing practice opportunities, delivering constructive feedback, and adjusting support as needed • Provide one‑on‑one academic and organizational support to help learners plan, prioritize, meet deadlines, and apply skills at work. Operations and quality: • Document concise coaching notes and send follow‑up actions within 72 hours of sessions • Track learner progress and trends, sharing insights and escalation needs with the team • Participate in coaching team meetings and ongoing training to refine practices and contribute to playbooks About you Required competencies • 3+ years of experience in career, executive, workplace, or life coaching with a track record of effective 1:1 support • Strong communicator who actively listens, asks thoughtful open‑ended questions, and gives clear written and verbal guidance • Demonstrated ability to help adults set goals, build skills, and persist through acute and longer‑term workplace challenges • Highly organized and responsive, with the ability to manage multiple learners and meet partner‑level expectations • Comfortable working independently and as part of an agile, data‑informed team Preferred qualifications • 4–6 years of coaching experience with working adult learners, including frontline and early‑career roles • Coaching certification (ICF, BCC, ICC, or similar) • Experience providing academic support such as study strategies, time management, and concept reinforcement • Previous professional experience in one or more of the following roles: sales, customer service, management, operations Logistics • Contract length: 6 months with the option to extend • Start date: Immediate • Location: Remote within the U.S. • Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience What we offer • Transparent, collaborative culture with fast learning cycles, coaching enablement, and actionable feedback • Opportunities to shape learner experience and contribute to improved outcomes for individuals and partners • $40-$50/hour, based on experience and geographic location Commitment to diversity and inclusion We value diverse perspectives and experiences.
