Department: Center for Information Technology Cybersecurity Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Program Assistant assists the Cybersecurity Defense Initiative Department with entering student registrations and arranging travel such as booking flights and lodging for personnel and instructors. The position also completes other administrative tasks associated with project activities and provides general office support in the management of course offerings, records, student enrollment, instructor contracts, and course material. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This is not a remote position, but an on-site position at the Criminal Justice Institute office in Little Rock, AR. Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: Possess a Bachelor’s Degree. (Job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval by the Director.) Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Have experience in arranging travel, such as flights and lodging. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects and demonstrate prioritization abilities in accomplishing tasks. Experience in Workday and Blackboard is preferred.
