Develop and implement governance and portfolio management strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Program Management Office (PMO). Lead and mentor a team of project managers and ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to successfully deliver projects. Act as a liaison between the PMO and other departments within the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Develop and maintain project management processes, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency. Monitor and track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans. Facilitate project prioritization and resource allocation to ensure the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budgets. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status and progress. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in project management and incorporate them into the PMO's processes and procedures. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established project management standards and guidelines. Develop and deliver presentations to senior management on the PMO's performance, project status, and recommendations for improvement. Continuously monitor and assess the PMO's effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO and drive initiatives to enhance project delivery and governance processes. Collaborate with other PMO leaders within the organization to share best practices and drive consistency across the organization.
