WHAT YOU’LL DO As a programmer at Atlas Creative, you'll be more than just a coder; you'll be a pivotal player in shaping immersive experiences and games for one of the largest games/platforms in the world. Your contributions will breathe life into our gameplay, creating fun and innovative experiences for millions. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: • Develop and optimize gameplay systems using Roblox Studio. • Collaborate closely with our development team to bring creative ideas to fruition. • Debug, test, and iterate on gameplay mechanics to ensure fluidity and player satisfaction. • Stay up to date on the latest developments and trends in Roblox and other UGC platforms to propose and implement innovative gameplay features. • Regularly participate in code reviews, seeking continual improvement and sharing knowledge with the team. • Address and resolve gameplay and engine issues in a timely and efficient manner. • Actively contribute to our team's pursuit of creating impactful "moments" for our players. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Strong problem-solving ability. • Proficiency in Lua or similar languages such as C++, Python, and C#. • Excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration across teams. • Proactive attitude, with the ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively as a team. • Strong passion for game development and user-generated content. • Experience with game engines like Roblox Studio, Unreal Engine and/or Unity. • Solid understanding of algorithms, system architectures, and design patterns. • Experience with version control tools like Perforce. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job
