The Project Controls Specialist I will support project managers by maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring effective communication among project teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure project objectives are met Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders Prepare and distribute project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and presentations Schedule and facilitate project meetings, ensuring all relevant information is communicated effectively Track and manage project risks, issues, and changes, escalating as necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination Assist in the preparation of project proposals, contracts, and other project-related documents Support the Project Manager in ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards Skills Bachelor's Degree 1-3 Years of Data Analysis Experience Excellent Communication Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite – particularly Excel Past/Current experience as a project accountant, project controls, or project management Experience in Microsoft Project, Vantagepoint, Power BI, Scheduling, or similar programs Benefits Flexible Work Environment Paid Parental Leave Medical Dental Vision Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off + Holidays Company Overview Verdantas is a firm that solves complex natural and built environment problems and partners with clients.
