Project Manager & Funnel CRO Lead - E-commerce Health & Wellness DTC Brand

This role owns the entire funnel lifecycle end to end. From initial ideation to final QA and post launch optimization, you are responsible for designing, building, managing, and optimizing high converting funnels at scale. You are not just running tests or managing tasks. You are the single owner of funnel execution, performance, and quality, working closely with developers, media buyers, creatives, and operations. This is a hands-on leadership role combining funnel building, CRO strategy, backend expertise, and project management. Funnel Ownership and Execution • Build funnels from scratch including advertorials, landing pages, checkout flows, upsells, downsells, and post purchase logic • Translate ideas, copy, and offers into fully functional funnels without constant direction • Own the funnel from first click to purchase completion and beyond • Ensure every funnel is fast, clean, compliant, and technically sound before launch • Take responsibility for QA across desktop and mobile before traffic is scaled CRO and Performance Optimization • Own CRO across key funnels and landing pages • Design and run structured split tests including A B and multivariate where relevant • Decide testing priorities based on data and impact, not opinions • Analyze test results and convert insights into clear next actions • Continuously improve conversion rate, AOV, and downstream metrics such as refunds and retention • Maintain a clear CRO roadmap with proper documentation Technical and Backend Ownership • Strong working knowledge of the CheckoutChamp backend, including products, offers, rules, routing, subscriptions, rebills, alerts, and logic flows • Ability to troubleshoot complex backend issues involving payments, rebills, refunds, declines, and routing • Implement and QA tracking, pixels, and events without harming performance or compliance • Understand how technical decisions impact funnel metrics and business outcomes Team Leadership • Lead and manage a team of senior developers and technical builders • Set clear technical standards, best practices, and QA processes • Review work, catch issues early, and ensure high quality output • Act as the main point of alignment between dev, CRO, and funnel strategy Project Management • Own funnel projects inside Asana from kickoff to launch • Break complex builds into clear tasks, timelines, and dependencies • Coordinate across copy, design, development, media buying, compliance, and CX • Keep projects moving forward without chaos or bottlenecks Required Experience • Strong experience with CheckoutChamp • Proven background in CRO for DTC or performance marketing funnels • Hands on experience building or editing landing pages and funnels • Solid understanding of funnel psychology and user behavior • Ability to connect CRO changes to real business outcomes, not just surface metrics • Comfortable working independently and prioritizing work without micromanagement Technical and Tooling Skills • Experience with landing page builders and CMS platforms • Basic development skills in HTML and CSS, JavaScript is a plus • Familiarity with analytics tools including GA, CheckoutChamp, and platform level data • Comfortable working with performance data from paid traffic funnels Bonus Points • Experience with subscription optimization and rebill flows • Strong understanding of direct response copy principles • Experience working closely with media buyers and creative strategists • Deep familiarity with CheckoutChamp or similar checkout platforms What Success Looks Like • Conversion rates improve through consistent, structured testing • Tests are hypothesis driven and well documented • Funnel changes are clearly explained and understood across teams • Media and creative teams trust CRO insights and execution • Revenue per visitor increases without increasing refunds or churn Apply tot his job
